In celebration of Older American Month, Bank of Granite hosted a special evening honoring those 50-years young or older. The Forever Young Social & Dance took place on Friday, May 16 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Hudson Uptown Building (originally Hudson High School) in Hudson, N.C.
Admission was free and open to anyone 50 or older. More than 150 participants enjoyed refreshments and the big band sounds of Silvio Martinat's Swing Band.
Karen Clark-Caruso, Bank of Granite public relations and marketing director said, "We have many customers who are Older Americans―some of whom have never banked anywhere but Bank of Granite. This is our way of thanking them and honoring all seniors with one of the most fun events the bank sponsors all year." She added, "We couldn't do this without our employee volunteers—they're the best. This is one event that everyone wants to be involved in because it is so much fun to meet and mingle with our guests."
